Built with 16″ to 18″ mean diameter Logs, Full-Scribe Construction, 2000 sq.ft. main floor with ½ loft. Logs are from a thinning project, 6 Redwood will be planted for every tree taken.
Here is an additional 1,000+ sq. ft. in the half loft, featuring a spacious seating area that overlooks the impressive Great Room below. Calling these logs 16” to 18” in mean diameter is an understatement. We have never built a home using timber of this size and quality before.
The plans currently have two more drafting revisions remaining, allowing us to further personalize the design to your preferences. The timber for this home was sourced from an area that was logged over 100 years ago, where old-growth stumps naturally regenerated into 10 to 12 new trees per stump. With ideal spacing of 15 to 30 feet, this timber is exceptionally strong and beautiful.
